I don’t have an update on how many words I’ve written because I haven’t worked on my WIP. No, I didn’t jinx myself. I had to focus on my 3 act structure for my plotting class and I hated it. For me, a pantster, writing a basic outline is worse than getting a cavity filled without being numbed. Believe me I know what that feels like because I thought it would be less painful than the needle. It’s not. Anyway for the last three days, I’ve tried to organize all of the scenes I have in my head into this structure. I don’t know if I’m right or wrong. Still waiting for feedback.

I found a contest for those of you who have a completed and polished manuscript. Miss Snark is allowing people to enter a contest where agents bid to request your manuscript by reading your logline and first 250 words of your manuscript. (See submission rules here. See the list of agents here.) She has thirteen agents and some of them are big names in the industry. Listed below are the genre categories and dates for submission. I think you should enter, it’s only $8 and you also get an opportunity for her readers to critique your work. However, there is only a limited amount of space. So don’t wait too long.
