E. B. White said “A writer who waits for ideal conditions under which to work will die without putting a word on paper.”

I couldn’t agree more. I have a two-hour window to write during the day and if I don’t use it, then I usually don’t write for the day. It means I write whether I’m hungry, sad, tired, happy, or I have writer’s block. It doesn’t matter. I have to park my butt in the chair and pound out words, even if it is painstakingly slow.  Because if I don’t, I’ll never finish my manuscript.

What do you think of E.B. White’s quote? Do you agree or disagree?
